Helping All Philadelphians No Matter Where You’re From
Back in 2014 Founders Ishaq Samai and Peter Wilson, Ward Leader of the Sixth Democratic Ward developed a model of community engagement and garnered the residents of 43rd and Pennsgrove Street to take back their community which had fallen prey to opioids distribution, open-air drug sales, abandoned homes, vacant lots, other illegal activity and blight.
PCOC eradicated crime in the community by targeting gun violence, open air drug sales, homicides, and blatant criminal activities.
We have partnered with including the 16th Police District, the Narcotics Unit, elected officials on all levels of government, the DA, Police Chief, various police inspectors, block captains, and organizational leaders.
PCOC and Calvary St. Augustine Episcopal church have built a strong alliance, and many of the events and meetings are held there. They have become the hub for 16 of our cameras that have been installed throughout a six block radius. The 16th Police District often look at our monitor when major crimes take place
