We host weekly meetings with members throughout the community to have active discussions on how we can improve our city.
Goals
Our goal is to involve everyone in the community to meet together to exchange dialogue and plan together.
Outcomes
So far Philadelphia Community Outreach Corporation has been able to prevent further drug sales/distribution in a number of neighborhoods in Philadelphia, such as Belmont.
Meetings
PCOC brings together the community in a safe space to not just discuss but plan ways to keep streets clean. These meetings help all voices be heard and to then translate concerns into actionable steps.
Our Solutions
At Philadelphia Community Outreach Corporation, we believe safety starts with a united voice. Our “Meetings in the Community” bring together citizens from all walks of life, alongside dedicated law enforcement officers, to forge a shared vision for a safer, drug-free Philadelphia. These open forums foster genuine dialogue, where every voice finds its place and every concern is heard. Together, we dissect the challenges facing our neighborhoods, from violence to drug proliferation, and collaboratively craft actionable plans to address them head-on. By uniting diverse perspectives and fostering trust between residents and law enforcement, we build a stronger, more resilient Philadelphia, one meeting at a time.
